PT 1: Animation/Cinematics
The project utilized free assets from the Unreal Engine Marketplace, namely the one from the discontinued PARAGON game.
A multi-camera system was used for various cuts, each virtual camera dedicated to close-ups, wide-shots, and tracking shots of the models.

PT 2: Environment
Even though this was inspired by the MK1 Clash cinematic, I wanted an apocalyptic feel for it, different than the serene quality that the former had. So the environment I had in mind had the same feel as the Obi-Wan/Anakin duel on Mustfar in Revenge of the Sith (I know…NERDY…).
I used Quixel Bridge to download textures and 3D assets from Quixel Bridge from the “Canyons of Utah” collection for the rustic red tones to match the feel of the set. Then I imported free assets from the Infinity Blade map called “Fire Lands” where I sourced the lava/water effects
PT3: VFX
For the VFX, things were a little more extensive. I added volumetric fog and changed the color tent on the directional light to give it a smokier feel that added to the ambiance.
In terms of lighting, an additional Rectangle light was added above the stone dais to illuminate the scene and characters.
When it came to the particle effects, a premade pack of VFX was used. A combination of smoke, fire, and spark emitters were placed around the level.
